Assenzio Astrale is our modern interpretation of one of the most legendary spirits ever. Inspired by ancient rites , European legends and pop imagery, it was created in our distillery in Pesaro for those who want to live an experience out of the ordinary, suspended between dream and reality.

The recipe for Assenzio Astrale is based on a selection of historic herbs – including wormwood, anise, fennel and other secret botanicals – crafted with artisanal care to obtain a complex, herbaceous and enveloping aromatic profile. Each sip reveals balsamic notes, spicy hints and a long finish that leaves room for the imagination.

🎨Design

The label is inspired by the work of Alfons Mucha , the famous Czech artist and father of Art Nouveau . It represents the legendary “green fairy” that appeared to those who drank the distillate, giving creativity and imagination.

🌱 Herbaceous notes

Visual: liquid with a colour that varies from oil green to the colour of dry leaves, with the possible presence of suspended particles due to maceration.
Olfactory: highly intense aroma with accentuated sweet notes of green anise and fennel seeds. Light hints of cocoa and lime leaves can also be perceived.
Tasteful: High intensity flavor of medium complexity. Initially you perceive sweet notes of anise and fennel followed by the more full-bodied ones of cocoa beans together with citrus hints. In the end you perceive the exotic and fresh note of lime leaves. On the palate it is velvety with a pleasantly oily and persistent texture. The finish is long, fresh and persistent with a sweet aftertaste of green anise.
