We have combined pop culture and spirits
When we founded Mezzanotte Spirits , we knew one thing for sure: we didn't want to just create good spirits . We wanted to create emotional experiences . Something that went beyond the taste, beyond the bottle, beyond the glass.
Pop culture is our secret ingredient
We chose to draw on what raised us, excited us and inspired us: Japanese cartoons seen as children , anime that have left their mark on us , video games that have kept us up late , mythological legends that have made us dream of distant worlds . All this has become part of our creative language.

Many spirits tell the story of a city, a terroir or a family recipe. Instead, we have chosen to tell the story of an interior world , made of memories, stories and shared passions. In each of our gins, bitters or vodkas there is a hidden narrative, a reference that those who share our passions can recognize. And those who don't know it can still experience the emotion.

For us, pop culture is not just inspiration: it is the way we communicate . It is a visual, narrative and sensorial code that allows us to talk about ourselves, but also to connect with those who choose us. Emotions can be distilled.
How a Midnight Spirit is Born
Our creative process always starts from a spark. A memory, a character, an atmosphere, a narrative universe that struck us. From there begins a journey of two voices:
- Alex and Tommaso , our master distiller and his assistant, immerse themselves in the sensorial part: they look for botanicals that can translate that inspiration into a coherent aromatic profile. They experiment with macerations, distillations, balancing flavors and aromas with artisanal rigor.
- Giacomo , our designer, translates the narrative world into images. He designs the label, takes care of every visual and symbolic detail. The goal is always the same: to ensure that those who look at the bottle can already imagine the journey that awaits them.

Only when both sides of the product – liquid and visual – are in harmony, we move on to the production phase. And we do it in the way we know best: artisanally , in our laboratory in Pesaro, using a Müller still and a Buchi R300 Rotavapor to best extract the most delicate aromatic notes.
Why this choice makes us different
In a world of increasingly standardized spirits, we have chosen to be deeply personal. We do not chase trends, nor do we try to please everyone. We prefer to tell who we really are, and build an audience that shares our vision: a mix of quality, emotion and pop culture .

Our name is not a coincidence. Midnight is the hour when one day ends and another begins. It is a point of passage, like those found in Nordic myths: portals between the human world and the magical one . Each bottle bears this symbol: a lock, an invitation to enter.

It is also the moment when we decided to change our lives, to leave the safe streets to follow a dream. Distill stories. Bottling emotions. Building a bridge between the stories that made us who we are and the world of spirits.

In a market crowded with labels that all look the same, we want to be recognizable. We want those who hold one of our products to feel that behind that bottle there is an authentic story. Ours. And, perhaps, a little of theirs too.
Mezzanotte Spirits is a tribute to imagination, play, and wonder. It is distillation, but it is also pop culture. It is passion, craftsmanship, and a desire to tell a story.
